What is this about?

The Council has received £33,000 of Government funding through the Coastal Community Fund to make improvements to the access and infrastructure of Highcliffe Beach

Why are we considering this idea?

Many of our visitors have made suggestions as to how we can improve access, such as creating level 'breathing platforms' on slopes or by installing handrails on some of the steeper sections, and as our community are our principle beach users we want to have a conversation about this topic before we commence doing any groundworks.

How much will it cost?

We are limited to the funding allocated by the grant award, so all works will have to be budgeted within that sum.
