Pathway Improvements

View to the east from Highcliffe Beach

The Council maintains the various pathways, steps and benches along our coastline but we are always keen to hear suggestions about how we could improve these features.

Part of the Coastal Revival Fund award was allocated to make physical improvements to the existing pathway infrastructure on Highcliffe Beach. A sum of £33,000 has been set aside to deliver improvements such as additional handrails, step levelling, and re-grading.

The objective is create easier and safer access to the beach and it is important that our community has a say in how this can be best achieved, therefore we have created a mapping tool below which will enable you get involved.

Please also feel free to ask any questions about this project in the Your Questions section below, we will endeavour to answer them as soon as we can and your input will help shape the future content of this project page.
